Tip #7: Leave The Laptop Battery Out
Today’s tip is short and simple. If you have a laptop that usually is always on an outlet, then leave the battery out.
By unplugging the battery you prevent unnecessary recharging prior to a full charge cycle.
Of course by leaving the battery off you leave the risk of the power going out and the computer being turned off, but this goes for any desktop as well that doesn’t have a backup UPS available.
As good practice the battery out when it’s not in use.
