After making a Black Friday purchase for two 23″ monitors and selling my old 22″s, I thought I was DONE for 2009.

Apparently not….

This morning I woke up to an Amazon Gold Box deal for a pair of Ultimate Ears: Triple-Fi 10vi, for $99. Yes folks, that’s not a typo. They retail for around $400 dollars.

It’s debated as to what the cause of the big sale is, some say it’s because Logitech is trying to get rid of stock, as they purchased Ultimate Ears. Others have said it’s a big glitch.

For whatever reasons, I couldn’t turn down the offer. So I purchased a set. I’ve owned two Bose headsets in the past… save the hate mail for later please (mainly for the comfort and the lightweight for traveling). Also, I do have a preference for OEM (over the ear) vs. In Ear.. but again, the deal was unmatched so I went for the plunge.

It’s suppose to be coming in next week and I’ll give my full review probably in a month after the break-in period and testing.
